I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Kefalonia called Folies. I was there for a week and it was the perfect place for a relaxing beach vacation. The hotel was incredibly clean, and my room had a bright and airy feel to it. The view from my balcony was absolutely stunning, overlooking the sea. The hospitality of the landlady, Georgia, was exceptional. She was very kind and accommodating throughout my stay. I also loved that there were books on the bedside table, perfect for some leisurely reading. Another great feature was the large terrace, which offered a spacious outdoor space to enjoy the sea view. The location of the hotel was excellent, making it easy to explore all the beautiful places on the island. I had a fantastic experience at Folies and would highly recommend it to others.

Great location, close to everything I needed - supermarket, bars, and restaurants. The Monastery of Sission was just a short stroll away. Free parking and wifi were a plus.

Oh, what a shame! I guess I'll just have to find something else to complain about.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the sea view from our balcony was breathtaking. The best part was the location - we were just a short walk away from one of the most beautiful sand beaches on Kefalonia. And the cherry on top was the bus service that took us to the lively town of Argosoli for some fun nights out!

If I had to ask for one thing, it would be for a livelier atmosphere at Folies. While it was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility, as young party-goers, we were hoping for some more entertainment options or activities specifically catered to teenagers.

If I had to pick one thing, I'd say I didn't particularly enjoy the seating area in some of the units. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.

The value for money was excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen, powerful shower, and comfortable beds. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea, and the staff, especially Georgia, were incredibly friendly and helpful.

One small improvement would be to have more breakfast options available.

We even received a lovely gift from the owner, Georgia, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

Some rooms lacked private balconies, so if you value privacy, it's best to request one in advance.
